I am here

I am here...at last! After Scotty and her friend Ange took me to Rockford to catch the bus to O'Hare, where I waited for a couple hours for take off, then, up, up and away! The plane ride was 8 1/2 hours but went fast. Then, after showing my passport and picking up my luggage I went out to a big throng of people waiting for the arrivals and saw Neecie's smiling face! What a nice welcome! Katie and Neece walked me through the airport ( or I would still be there, lost!) got on the train and was serenaded by a gypsy playing accordian ( THOSE WERE THE DAYS). We got off in our neighborhood and walked down the market street to get to our (Paris!) apartment, stopped and bought fresh veggies and fruit. Had to cut short our shopping as I had to go to the apartment ( bathroom). I unpacked and Neece made me a nice huge salad. I think the jet lag is trying to catch up to me as this is getting harder to think and type, both! Will post more after rested. Amor,
